Who We Are
Orivane is a psychological self-intelligence platform accessible at
orivane.pages.dev. We are operated by an individual based in India.

What We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Your email address, when you sign up on the landing page or join the Pro waitlist
- Reflections, journal entries, goals, and any other text you write inside the Orivane app
Collected automatically:
- Usage data via Google Analytics — pages visited, session duration, click events (anonymized; no personally identifiable information)
- General device and browser type, and approximate geographic region (country/city level) via analytics
- Cookies placed by Google Analytics for session tracking (see Section 6)

How We Use Your Data
- To provide the Orivane service and generate psychological insights from your reflections
- To send you product updates and early access notifications if you joined the waitlist — you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us
- To understand how the product is being used and improve it (via anonymized analytics data)
- To process your reflections through third-party AI APIs in order to produce the insights, blind spot detections, and analyses you see in the app
Our commitment: We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not engage in any commercial data brokerage or trade your information with third parties for their own purposes. This is an absolute policy — not a preference that changes based on business conditions.

Data Storage & How It Moves
Your reflection data is stored in your browser (using IndexedDB / sql.js) on your own device. Orivane does not maintain a central database of your personal reflections.
However, when you use AI-powered features (Blind Spots, Self Model analysis, Futures, Reflect chat, etc.), the relevant text from your reflections is transmitted to third-party AI API providers to generate your insights. This is necessary for the features to function.
Your email address is stored in our systems (and temporarily in your browser's localStorage on the landing page) and is used only to contact you about Orivane.

Third Parties We Work With
- Google Analytics — anonymized usage tracking. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- AI API providers — your reflection text is sent to third-party AI services to generate insights. We select providers who, under their terms, do not use submitted data to train their own models for third parties.
- We do not integrate advertising networks, data brokers, or tracking pixels of any kind beyond Google Analytics.

Cookies
Orivane itself does not set first-party cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish sessions and measure usage. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Request deletion of your email address from our records — email us at pratyushdave80@gmail.com
- Clear all of your local app data directly within the app via Settings → Clear Data
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking via browser settings or the opt-out add-on
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you (primarily your email address)
Because your reflections are stored in your own browser and not on our servers, you have full control over them at all times.

Children's Privacy
Orivane is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold (primarily email addresses). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users who have provided their email address. Continued use of Orivane after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
